Our Story
The sense of belonging comes from a basic human need.
I’ve traveled to 30+ countries and explored 260+ cities, often looking to escape the daily grind. Throughout my journeys, I’ve always found ways to connect with locals. While the Internet is handy, there’s nothing like talking to people who know their city inside and out.
I’m also focused on enhancing guest experiences and helping them feel at home. I host in several locations around Amsterdam and offer hospitality consulting for hotels, boutique spots, apartment-hotels, bed & breakfasts, and guesthouses. Right now, I run my own Bed & Breakfast in Amsterdam.
Additionally, I help homeowners connect with long-term renters—many clients reach out after short-term rentals or when they decide to relocate abroad based on recommendations from existing clients.

I believe that travelers are growing weary of the usual ways of exploring. Visiting a city should be more than just ticking off landmarks. It’s about interaction, connection, and leaving a piece of yourself behind.
If you crave an extraordinary vacation, start by truly connecting with others. Make an effort to communicate, and at least attempt to speak some English to break the ice. Spend more than a few days in Amsterdam and you’ll begin to feel like a local.
